Emmaleene Leahy
Emmaleene Leahy is an English and French teacher and Assistant Principal. She also works as Literacy Co-ordinator and Senior Year Head. She has over 20 years’ experience teaching at post-primary level and in adult education.
Emmaleene has worked as French Content Co-ordinator with Examcraft Formative, developing specification-aligned digital assessments for Junior Cycle.
She studied at the University of Caen in France and worked as a language assistant in Normandy. Her qualifications include a First Class Honours MA, a Higher Diploma in Education, and further postgraduate study. She is also a published writer and award-winning screenwriter, with work screened internationally.
