Anita Collins
Anita is a highly experienced Maths teacher with 25 years of teaching experience across Ireland, the UK, Qatar and Malaysia.
She is also an examiner for the State Exams and the founder of The Maths Exams Expert. Anita specialises in helping students succeed in Maths by breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps.
Known for her kind, supportive teaching style and her ability to build students’ confidence, Anita creates a calm and encouraging learning environment where every student can thrive. As a parent herself, she understands the challenges students face in secondary school, and she’s passionate about making sure Maths isn’t one of them.

What will be covered
For many Junior Cert students, the Mock exams are the first formal, timed Maths exam they will ever sit. It’s completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect or how to approach exam questions under pressure.
Being good at Maths and being good at Maths exams are not always the same thing, and this session is designed to help students develop both.

- Strengthen key Maths skills that WILL be examined in the mocks
- Learn how to approach questions with clear exam technique and effective timing strategies
- Gain confidence with wordy problem-solving questions by learning how to cut through the language and identify the maths required
