Eoghan O’Leary is the Head of Maths at The Tuition Centre and has over 20 years experience teaching Maths. Throughout his career, Eoghan has specialised in helping Leaving Certificate Higher Level Maths students develop a stronger understanding of the course, improve their problem-solving skills and approach their exams with greater confidence. Eoghan has also lectured in Mathematics Methodologies at UCC.

His teaching focuses on making difficult ideas easier to understand, helping students see how topics connect, and giving them practical strategies they can use when faced with unfamiliar exam questions.

What will be Covered

Master Differentiation, Master Leaving Cert Maths!

Differentiation is the most important topic in Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths because it underpins so many areas of the course and the exam. It frequently appears across both Paper 1 and Paper 2, both in Section A and Section B meaning you simply can't avoid it.  Many Section B “applied” questions rely on it, and it often links topics like Algebra, Functions, and Trigonometry.
